Mrs. Chiyo Tomai Thomas, 83, of Waynesboro, wife of Donald A. Thomas, entered into rest October 7, 2017 at Dwight David Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Mrs. Thomas was born July 17, 1934 in Okinawa, Japan. She married Donald in May 1965. She was a homemaker, housewife and like to crochet and sew.
Besides her husband Donald, she is survived by two cousins, Maryann Thomas Sapp, Louisville, GA and Joan Duncan, Atlanta, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Girard, GA with Rev. Thomas Tidwell officiating. Visitation will be heldat the church, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on date of service. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Waynesboro.
