Obituary

 

Austin Tyler Thompson, age 27, of Waynesboro, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He is survived by his mother, Marty A. Thompson, his father, Barry F. Thompson, and his brother, West B. Thompson.

Austin Tyler Thompson, known as “Ty” to his friends and “Ty-Ty” to his family, is described as being handsome, charming, charismatic, and giving. Tyler was not only a son and brother, but a friend and caring person. He was always willing to help anyone who asked. Tyler was always surrounded by friends and family. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing video games, and hanging out with his two dogs, Kado and Spanky. Tyler spent every Saturday morning playing a round of golf with his father and brother and enjoyed having family supper every Sunday afternoon.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at Burke Memorial Funeral Home, 842 Liberty St., Waynesboro, Georgia.  

The family humbly requests only the presence of those invited at the Celebration Of Life due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions and for all others to “Share A Memory” by clicking the button at the bottom left of the screen.
