Mrs. Betty June Odum passed away on October 16, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Greenwood, SC. Mrs. Odum was born to Benjamin Dwight Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth Jenkins. She was a lifelong resident of Sardis, GA where she was a housewife and homemaker. She worked at Tarrington Industries in Sylvania, GA.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Myrtle Johnson and two brothers J.D. Jenkins and Franklin Jenkins.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Odum Aliffi and husband Dennis of Greenwood, SC and son William Steve Odum and wife Eun-Ju of Rosemond, CA. She is also survived by five sisters Barbara Hamilton and Eva Nell Ellison of Sardis, Sherry Tanner, Augusta, Ellen McDilda, Claxton and Lois Prickett, Hephzibah; three brothers Haze Jenkins, Waynesboro, Thomas Jenkins and Lewis Jenkins of Savannah. She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Mrs. Odum will be held November 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at her home at 110 Jenkins Cemetery Rd, Sardis, GA 30456. Dennis Aliffi, Mrs. Odum's son-in-law, will officiate the service.
