Danny E. Campbell, Jr.

Danny E. Campbell Jr., entered eternal rest on December 14, 2023 at Clarke Foundation Hospital in Champagne, Illinois.  He was born on May 25, 1979 in Augusta, Georgia and graduated high school at Warren Central High , Indianapolis, In.  During his senior year he entered the delayed entry program and trained with the Marines on weekends while also working as a stock person for Meijers Company.  After graduating high school, he was sent to MCRD in San Diego for boot camp.  Once he graduated he was extremely proud to be a Marine.  Danny served in various locations stateside and overseas and was honorably discharged.

Danny is survived by his mother and step-father Candy Cook Clowers and Shannon H. Clowers(Waynesboro), his father Danny E. Campbell, Sr., and Regina King Campbell(Parsons, Tn.), his brother Eric J. Campbell(Amy),( Brucetown, Tn.), half-brothers Paul Campbell(Parsons, Tn.), David Campbell, (Parsons,Tn.), sister, Patricia D. Clowers, (Indianapolis, In.).  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James C. Cook, Sr. and Joyce Lazenby Cook, both of Augusta, Ga.  He is also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James T. and Eva Painter Campbell,(Parsons, Tn.)

One year prior to Danny's death he made a major decision to be an organ donor. To date, his unselfish gift of life has saved over 70 people in multiple states and overseas.  He finally found the peace he was searching for which left his family devastated, but greater good prevails in the saved lives of so many others.Semper Fi Marine.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at 2:00 pm. at Burke Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bruce Allen officiating.  Burke Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
