Jane (Granade) Hickson

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ms. Jane Granade Hickson, who died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, at the age of 74.  She will be lovingly remembered by her family, her children Julie David, Al Hickson, and Dana Hickson.  She is also survived by her siblings Peg and Henry Toole, George and Jill Granade, and her grandchildren, Madison, Chloe, Alex, Sammi, and Graham. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Jane will forever be remembered as a kind, generous, and loving woman. She spent her life in service to others as a realtor and maintained several roles in her Church.  Jane was the rock and foundation of love and support to her family.  They will forever carry her memory and the lessons she taught. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service in memory of Jane Hickson will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Burke Memorial Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Ga.
