Joel Ashley Crenshaw

Mr. Joel Ashley Crenshaw, 56, of Sardis, Ga and beloved son of Peggy Padgett Gulyban (Mark) of Martinez, Ga., and the late Joseph Thomas Crenshaw, Jr. entered into rest Wednesday, October 13, 2021. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2021, at Burke Memorial Funeral Home (842 Liberty St, Waynesboro, GA 30830). A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 1:00 pm, at Hopeful Baptist Church (2973 Winter Rd, Blythe, GA 30805), with Dick Byne and Dan Fowler officiating. 

Mr. Crenshaw, a native of Waynesboro, graduated from Edmund Burke Academy in 1985, attended South Georgia College, and later completed the Apprenticeship Training Program at Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 150 in Augusta, Ga., in 1993. Ashley loved his career as a pipefitter, and he enjoyed seeing the country while traveling to different job sites. He was a proud member of Local 150 for almost 30 years.

In addition to his Mother, he is survived by one son, Chandler Crenshaw of Charleston, SC, a brother, Joseph Thomas Crenshaw, III (Sue) of Marietta, Ga., a sister, Shelley Crenshaw of Marietta, Ga., a loving Stepfather, Mark Gulyban, two nieces, Ansley Hill and Alli Crenshaw, and one nephew, Carter Crenshaw.
