Leo Franklin Burke

Leo Franklin Burke, age 79, of Sardis, Ga. passed away at his residence on November 30, 2022.  Leo was born in Screven County on January 3rd, 1943 to David & Blanche Burke.  He was a member of East Burke Baptist Church in Sardis, Ga.  Leo was the owner of Burke Lawn Care and was in the landscaping business.  He is survived by his wife, Glennis Beasley Burke, one daughter, Krystal Jackson ( Chris ), and four sons,  Kenneth Burke ( Annabel ), Kody Burke, Kasey Burke, and Kolton Burke ( Melinda ). He is further survived by sisters Kaye Francis and Hope Burke and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5th, 2022 at East Burke Baptist Church in Sardis at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be at the Church from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.  Pallbearers will be Anthony Wright, Christian Hillis, James Tobias, Billy Ray Brown, Bradley Belk, and Bruce Redd. The service will be held by the Rev. Jordan Clayton and Associate  Pastor George Saxon.  Burial will follow at the family cemetery.  Burke Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the service.
